ENVIRONMENT
World Defender - Environmental Game made with the ZIM JavaScript Canvas Framework for Extinction Rebellion Art Auction in Hamilton Ontario Canada

WORLD DEFENDER

ZIM was used to make World Defender a multitouch art piece presented on a touch screen where you let good things reach Earth but stop bad things. There are four color-coded quadrants: Energy, Nature, Action and Waste. Good and bad things head towards Earth staying in their quadrants. Multiple players can play as well. Dr Abstract, the creator of the game helped defend Earth with the Mayor of Hamilton!

The game play in the video happens about 3 minutes in. Dr Abstract also coincidentally met the creator of the ZIM Database! The meeting is caught on video at about the 9 minutes 50 seconds and was a celebration rather than a fist fight ;-).

EXTINCTION REBELLION

Extinction Rebellion made quite a stir in Hamilton in 2019.

Dr Abstract ended up getting the amazing quilted aluminum Dave Hind work featuring the Extinction Rebellion patch.
